Parkes isn't only an extraordinary artist, but his imagry is spectacular and dreamlike. His work has fascinated me for many years.
I first discovered Bob's work on the amazing covers of the Necroscope books and wow, he's bloody brilliant!
Wow, I mean, James work is incredible, creative, funny, clever, moving and totally heart-warming. |
I simply adore David's "Monster A Day" and his other work, too. So creative, dark, spooky and sometimes quite amusing. |
The spiritual themes and stunning use of color draws you in, and Pablo's honesty and deep feeling shines through. Love his work! |
Speaking of dreamlike, Dali is the master of surrealism, bursting forth out of the box to send the conscious mind into thrilling subconscious places. |
His perfection and brilliant mind always has inspired us. Escher's work seems to me a kind of super-logic or super-reality. |
Being fans of fantasy for years, Dean has been one of our favorite artists, bringing fantastical images into living color. |
Thomas' work appeals to our dark, gothic, sentiments. His imagery creates inspiration for writing and all forms of creativity! |
Beever has blown our minds with his spontaneous and utterly amazing sidewalk art! Creating the illusion of detailed perspective. He's brilliant! A true genius! |
Warren is another artist that brings the dreaming mind into conscious thought. His work is warm, comforting, beautiful! |
Gonzalez is satisfying in a whole new way. We are huge scifi fans and his work is both cerebral, futuristsic, and sensual. |
Gric also takes the mind into dreamworlds, science and the spiritual. His colors and images are organic and primal. |
Spiritual and mystical, we've always been drawn to this kind of style and love the use of color and shapes. |
The darkest artist I've ever seen! Provotorov stunned me years back when I saw one of his "7 Deadly Sins" paintings called "Blasphemy." It was twisted, literally, but brilliant! K |
Since I've worked in Photoshop for many years and I often refer to it as "my baby" I have been so impressed with the fun and excellent work at Worth1000.com. |

casting & look-alikes
Finding
the perfect actor for various characters is one of our favorite pastimes.
Slowly, we are doing images of casting ideas and actors who resemble other actors. Our choices are based on the way an actor fits
a part at the time of the images we choose, whether they would be perfect
for it currently or not. Putting a real, live face with a character
described in a book or drawn in a comic is our ultimate goal. |

| Harry Potter - When we read Dolores Umbridge (L) and saw the drawing in the book, we just knew that Annette Badland would make the PERFECT Umbridge for the film. She's an extraordinary actress and one of our favorites! Before Kretcher (R) appeared in the films, we got a huge laugh taking Keith Richards and turning him into the grumpy old house elf! You gotta admit, he looks fabulous in the role! LOL! |
James Purefoy as James Bond? OH YEA!
Pop on over to our JamesPurefoy.us site to see other images and much more James stuff! |
Cliff Simon (L) who plays our favorite Goa'uld, Ba'al, bears a great resemblance to Orlando Bloom. This struck us when we saw Bootstrap Bill and thought, hey, Will would have actually been "the spitting image of his father" if they'd cast Cliff in the role! |
| Has anyone else noticed Toby Mcguire bears quite a resemblence to Brent Spiner? Would make a great Date V. 2.0. :) |
Tom
Welling as Perseus from Clash of the Titans. Perfect!! |
Paul Bettany as The Vampire Lestat from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles |
Simon
Woods as Dorian Gray
We have also considered Simon Woods (R) for Lestat since he's a bit younger, though Paul looks so darn young, too. |
| The
Rock/Dwayne Johnson as Apocalypse from the X-Men comics. |
Has anyone else noticed how much Elizabeth Mitchell and Carrie Anne Moss resemble each other? Could play sisters! :) |
Has anyone else ever noticed the resemblance? There were times back in the day when we used to joke Nick Rhodes had a double life... mild mannered keyboardist for Duran Duran "by day" and hardcore hair band rocker guitarist CC from Poison "by night"... lol |
Now doesn't little Jake look a lot like Mr. Padalecki? It will be interesting to see if, as he grows, he will bear any resemblence to Jared. Such cuties! :) |
Has anyone else ever noticed this resemblance? LOL! Yep, at some point long ago we happened to notice how much that strange, rubbery mask, robot thing in the Wild Boys video looked like Patrick Stewart. I mean, wow, even the ears are the same! Too funny! :) |
When I first laid eyes on Josh Harnett I thought he looked like Charles Bronson. If they ever to a film of Bronson's life, there is NO other actor to play him. That role belongs to Josh, hands down! :) |
We have always been huge fans of both these guys, and thought they'd be great as brothers in a film someday. Both are extraordinary actors and it would so rock to see them work together, too. |
